Pickerings Lifts Launches New Low Carbon Systems Support DivisionMay 03, 2008
Building on its long-established reputation for providing bespoke
end-to-end lift and access solutions, Pickerings Lifts has launched a
new Low Carbon Systems Support Division to support the installation,
maintenance and servicing of heat exchangers that are specifically
designed for the low carbon market.
“This development is in line with our ongoing focus on delivering
services that address environmental concerns,” says national customer
support manager, Marcus Clissold. “As one of the first authorised
installer and maintenance companies catering for this type of product,
we are pioneering the adoption of low carbon heat exchangers in the UK.”
Over recent years, heat exchanger units have been implemented across a
broad range of sites, from small hotels and guest-houses through to
universities and ‘environmentally-aware’ large enterprises.
As Clissold explains, “today, increasing numbers of businesses have
adopted proactive strategies aimed at lowering their carbon footprints.
“Pickerings already has significant experience providing specialist
products, support and consultancy advice to the HVAC (Heating,
Ventilation and Air Conditioning) market. In setting up this new unit
therefore, we are building on substantial existing skills and expertise
in providing a maintenance and support structure to assist these
companies in achieving their environmental goals,” he confirms.
